“your radio station is the best.“

— Chandler, local listener

“ i heard an amazing song played on my way home from the Concord drive-in, and google or spotify could not tell me what it was. it had no vocals but was an awesome jam. i must track it down. and thanks for being such an awesome station. i've been listening to you guys since 1986 when i discovered your station while in jr. high. “

— Matt, local listener

“i love KVHS! your unique and eclectic music choices are wonderful and i can’t thank you enough for just being who you guys are. the vibe and music is just special every time i turn it on. you’re the only channel i listen to and now i can get KVHS not just in my car but also on the internet so i take you guys with me when i travel. thank you guys for being you and doing it right! “

— Bill, local listener

“thank you all for the great music, from the bottom to the top of our hearts.“

— Barbara & Kent, local listeners

“mixed review, but mostly favorable! i am so old that i hung out at both locations of KPPC. i sat in the studio while Zach Zenore was on the air. so? just so you know, that I know what free form radio is, is all. and that i think you are doing that thing to a goodly degree. i am a loyal listener, since i first heard some faint sound between local (Sacramento) stations, and i hope you can appreciate my constructive criticism. please don't play the hits of one-hit wonders. most of these singles came with a flip side and were on an album of some sort. there were/are other songs by one-hit wonders. so don't play 'Radar Love' ever again...please avoid hits in general. and keep up the good work!“

— EDH, local listener

“KVHS is the absolutely BEST station I have heard in decades. i love this “free form 70's” format…proving once again, that this was the best decade for great music. superlatives know no bounds with KVHS. pick one…it applies! keep it up! love it, love it. LOVE YOU guys for making this happen! “

— Allen, local listener

“yes! a New Order deep cut rarely played.“

— Vickie, local listener

“more prog rock! i never thought i would hear Gentle Giant on the radio! Gentle Giant, Yes, early Genesis, King Crimson, etc. is all i listened to in high school - College Park class of 2012. you guys run an incredible station, and you should know there are people out here who are deeply appreciative for what you do. “

— Evan, local listener

“thank you for the great music!“

— John, local listener

“keep rocking! favorite station! “

— Nathan, local listener

“just wanted to let you know that i really enjoy your station - it’s like the great stations i listened to in the early 70s when i first moved to the bay area, especially the old KSAN. great eclectic variety. i agree with other listener comments — refreshing and INTERESTING! i love the difference. so thank you! i will send a donation soon. keep on trucking’ — GREAT GREAT JOB, the best! “

— Beth, local listener

“digging the music“

— Leo, local listener

“you guys are off the charts. my 74 year old friend turned me on to your station. i’m 64 and blown away. i will send a donation monday. keep on rocking.“

— Bob, local listener

“nice 80s mix!“

— Randy, local listener

“i just discovered your station a few minutes ago, and was transported back to my high school years! such a delight to hear a free form format that i thought had been lost to history. thanks so much!“

— Mark, local listener

“thanks to those of you producing KVHS. by far the best station in the area. i have been listening to the station for about 5 years. i love the "free format" nature and am glad to hear things like Ry Cooder, Bob Marley, David Bowie, and all sorts of great jazz, to name just a couple examples i feel were not being played just a few years ago. nothing wrong with instrumentals, even interminable ones on occasion, but if i hear none of the Eloy again i will consider the world improved. “

— Jason, local listener

“tuned into today up here in Fairfield. love the free form format. reminds me of KSAN back in the early 70’s!“

— Russ, local listener

“just found your station and been loving it. thanks for all the great tunes.“

— Bob, local listener

“just wanted to reach out and say BRAVO! been listening for a couple months now and i am entertained each time i tune in. and the hourly genre themes are great. i've checked in on KVHS for years, and have done some deejay work myself. i can't say i miss the hard rock/metal format of old. this current mix is great. i'm really impressed with the variety as well as obscurity of tunes you play. keep up the good work!“

— Jimmy, local listener

“i love the station, and find the listing of the last 4 songs helpful, but limiting. thanks, and keep up the excellent work!“

— Jim, local listener

“keep up the great job“

— H, local listener

“i've been enjoying the prog rock offerings on the station!“

— Matthew, local listener

“really enjoy the music you play. i was listening this morning on the car radio and really liked the song so immediately pulled up your website to see what was playing.“

— Tim, local listener

“been living and working in the coastal hills of San Gregorio and Pescadero the last 40 years...grew up with whole music scene in San Francisco...i can drop a lot of names of people you’ve heard of, but who cares...after moving Lafayette and finding your station about six months ago when i finally got my garage sorted out and my radio-stereo in, i can’t thank you enough for being the calm in this ever goofy east bay suburban rush, rush insanity. you rank with KSAN, KFJC, KFAT“

— JC, local listener

“KVHS ROCKS! love your station been listening for years!“

— Frank, local listener

“i just discovered your station a few minutes ago, hearing My Captain by Grand Funk and was transported back to my high school years in Michigan! such a delight to hear a free form format that i thought had been lost to history. thanks so much!!“
