How to Join the KVHS Radio Communications Class
Ever wanted to be a part of the KVHS-FM, 90.5 The Edge Radio Team? Now is your chance to become part of the Radio Communications Class. Now accepting applications for the next semester beginning in August. There is no tuition or sign up fees (this is NOT a "broadcast school").
The class is open to high school students 16 years of age and older and adult residents of Contra Costa County. The class meets daily from 3 to 5 pm, Monday through Friday. (For high school students, it counts as a "double" class -- twice the elective high school credits).
From August to June, the class teaches all aspects of Radio, such as equipment operation, performance and production, creative copywriting, business communications, resume and demonstration/ aircheck creation and professional job seeking techniques.
